The Rev. June Boutwell is currently serving as Interim Minister at Ainsworth UCC in Portland, Oregon. She holds her ecclesiastical standing in the Central Pacific Conference (CPC) of the United Church of Christ (UCC). She currently serves on the CPC Finance and Development Committee. She has served as UCC national staff in Local Church Ministries holding the portfolio of Youth, Young Adult and Outdoor Ministries. She has served as transitional Conference staff in Maine, California, and Southeast Conferences and served settled and transitional ministry positions in UCC and DOC churches in Maine, California, Oregon, and Pennsylvania. She also has a background in camp and conference ministry and served as national staff to the UCC Outdoor Ministry Association as well as serving on the National Council of Churches Outdoor Ministry Team and Youth and Young Adult Leadership teams. She has served as Association Registrar and a member of Committee on Ministry. She is a second career pastor who comes from a corporate background in accounting and finance. She is a skilled leader and facilitator in such areas as governance and board development, spiritual disciplines, clergy ad lay boundary awareness, youth ministry, and arts and liturgy. She is of Japanese American heritage and enjoys omnivorous reading, baseball, NASCAR, and spending time with her two adult sons and grandson.
